Linking your bank account to Paypal
I recently applied for N26's Debit Mastercard since I need a bank account here in Europe and surprisingly it arrived in just a week. Next thing I need to do is to link it to my PayPal so I can make some purchases online. Of course, I can just use the card directly since it's a Mastercard but there are some stores that I frequent that just accepts Paypal.
I already signed up for Paypal EU and it's pretty straightforward. The instructions below are from paypal.com
How do I add a card to my PayPal account?

To add a card:
- Go to Wallet.
- Click Link a card in the Credit and debit cards section.
- Enter the required information.
- Click Save.
You can add up to 8 credit or debit cards to your PayPal account.
When you add your debit or credit card to your account, you may be required to confirm it.
Note:
- We will temporarily place an authorisation hold on this card of $1.00 USD, or local equivalent, to verify that your card is valid. You will not incur any charges as this temporary authorisation hold will be released within a few days, depending on your credit card issuer.
- If your card is eligible for automatic update with PayPal, we may update the card for you when new information is available, including a new expiration date or a new card number. Any billing agreement and payment preference associated with the old card will be migrated to the new card. We may also remove a card on your behalf if the card becomes unusable or has been closed.
Since N26 is just an online bank, you need to download their app and check if PayPal has already deposited in your account so you can link it. Took me a day to receive it on a weekday.
I got 2 small deposits from Paypal and was able to confirm it on their website. After I linked my card I immediately tested if I can transfer my money to it. Just click on transfer funds then >> withdraw funds. Choose your new bank account and wait for a day or two. Mine only took a day and N26 messaged me that I have already received the money in my account.
